A Major Campaign by the Integrity Commission: Exposing Thousands of Fake Records and Recovering Pensioners' Funds
As part of efforts to protect public funds and reinforce the rule of law, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the results of its comprehensive investigations and data cross-checking at the National Pension Commission, which revealed severe financial and administrative breaches.
The work of the joint committees, formed with the approval of the Prime Minister's Office, resulted in identifying several violations, most notably:
Salaries for the deceased: Uncovering 16,384 records of deceased pensioners whose salaries continued to be disbursed without legal justification.
Outdated cards: Identifying approximately 40,000 electronic payment cards (Qi Card) issued based on old data that had not been updated.
Data manipulation: Detecting fabricated errors in the data of some pensioners, particularly in governorates affected by terrorism, with suspicions of involvement by administrative officials.
The Commission recommended the urgent need to accelerate digital transformation, link the platforms of the Martyrs Foundation with the Pension Commission, and take all strict legal measures to recover the looted funds.
