In a step supporting stability and development efforts in the region, the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament held official talks with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, addressing ways to elevate bilateral relations and expand areas of cooperation across various levels—most notably institutional and parliamentary coordination.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the necessity of aligning positions in international forums and activating the pivotal role of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), contributing to creating a stable regional environment that supports pathways toward peace and development while serving the mutual interests of both countries.
